“All that matters, is where you are going” is a favorite quote of mine. With that an update as well as a plan to move forward. I have now finished Narbik’s Volume 2 Service Provider workbook. It took a little while longer than I had planned.

As you may have noticed from my inexcusable lack of posts, ive been very busy. I have been finishing up IPexperts volume 1 workbooks and now going through volume 2. Still lots of interesting details to learn about. I have also managed to get most of my video-on-demand material onto my iPad so i have easier access to it.

Im pretty much back at my lab practice again. Doing Narbik’s labs. Last 5-6 labs is all about frame-relay, including FRTS, PIPQ (Which i never encountered before), fragmentation and compression. All good stuff. As someone on twitter mentioned, its really amazing that frame-relay is still on the lab exam.

So yesterday, I started with all the lab exercises that has to do with EIGRP. I did the one in the self-study guide, and one (2.7.1) in the lab portfolio. I also started on 2.7.2. So far, the labs in the labportfolio are far better written than the ones in the self-study guide.
